Larry Bunch, 72, former constable in Russell County, KY Larry Bunch, of Russell Springs, passed away with his family at his bedside on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. He was 72 years of age. Born on June 6, 1948 in Russell County, he was a son of the late Robert and Jewell Hill Bunch. He worked as a farm hand most of his life, but also worked at Stephen's Pipe and Steel for over twenty years. He was a former constable for Russell County. He loved to deer hunt and fish. Survivors include his wife, Michele Bunch of Russell Springs; three daughters, Tamara Stephens (and Boris) Stephens of Russell Springs, Jill Haste-Purtee (and Brian) of Waynesburg, and Ashley Silverman of Somerset; a step-son Jeremy (and Carrie) Myers of Russell Springs; two brothers, Lonnie (and Wanda) Bunch of Russell Springs, and Donnie Bunch of Franklin, IN; two sisters, Bobbie Burks of Russell Springs, and Kim (and John) Stivers of Russell Springs; and eleven grandchildren, Lindsey, Abbey, Jordyn, Connor, Benjamin, Timothy, Jacob, Bentley, Nathan, Zachary, and Rebecca. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Jerry Stephens. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Burton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Rexroat Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM CST, Friday, at Bernard Funeral Home. Pallbearers for Larry will be Johnathan Baker, Connor Haste, Jeff Stephens, John Stivers, Jeremy Myers, and Doug Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be Benjamin Myers, Timothy Myers, Jacob Myers, Nathan Myers, Bentley Silverman, and Joey Kerns. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance.
