Betty Jean Cash, 72, Adair Co., KY native (1949-2021)

Betty Jean (Collins) Cash of Russell Springs, formerly of Milltown, died Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She was 72 years old.

Betty chose cremation, and a memorial at Milltown Cemetery will be held at a later date.


She was born January 7, 1949, in Adair County, to the late Herbert Ray and Mae Grant Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wilson, her son, Phil Hudson and her brother, Bobby Collins. Betty formerly work at Osh Kosh B'Gosh and The Country Inn and retired from working in the Cranmer Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter & son-in-law - Cindy & Eldon Burton of Russell Springs
  • Two step-daughters - Melanie Waldroop, Shannon Gower (Doyle) both of Oklahoma
  • One step-son- Kenny Wilson of Oklahoma
  • Adopted daughter - Lena Miller (Paul) of Columbia
  • 10 Grandchildren - Tyler, Amanda, Chase, Bryant, Adam, Gage & Craig Burton, Ryan Bruner, Emylou & Andrew Miller
  • Eight step-grandchildren - Owen & Jake Livers, Taylor Lopez, Tristan Gower, Kristen, Caleb & Kobe Wilson, Kamaryn Ballard
  • Four great-grandchildren - Nevaeh Overstreet, Zayne & Zayden Robbins, Evie Burton
  • Five step-great-grandchildren
  • A host of friends
