ACES Family Gardening Project

In honor of Earth Day, the 21st CCLC Camp SAFARI Program, Title I and Family Resource Center at Adair County Elementary School would like to offer students to pick up supplies for a Family Gardening Project! Each of the gardening kits contain the following items:
  • Flower pot
  • Let's Get Gardening hardcover book - contains instructions for 30 easy gardening projects for kids
  • Gardening gloves
  • Gardening tools
  • Seed packets (cucumber, squash, pumpkin, and Zinnia seeds)
  • Sunflower seeds along with instructions on planting a sunflower house
There will also be information from the UK Cooperative Extension Service about gardening in small spaces. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and limited to one per family.

Pickup date and time is Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 3:30pmCT until 5pmCT on the Front Porch at Adair County Elementary School, 870 Indian Dr, Columbia, KY. Families should remain in their vehicle and we will bring the kit out to you!
