Archie Garmon, 76, Edmonton, KY (1944-2021) Archie Garmon of Edmonton peacefully passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 surrounded by his family. Funeral services for Archie Garmon will be held at 2pmCT on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East St., Edmonton, KY. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be held from 9:30amCT until the service time on Wednesday. Anyone wishing to pay their respects in person are required to wear a mask or other facial covering to protect the health of others in attendance. Archie was born August 27, 1944 to the late Glen and Doris Garrett Garmon. Besides his parents Archie was preceded in death by a son Tommy Garmon and two brothers. Austin and Louie Garmon. Archie was a retired forklift operator for Dickinson Lumber Company and a member of the Grace Union Baptist Church, He is survived by a son Brian and wife Anna Garmon of Edmonton. Four sisters. Wanda Blaydes, Martha Jessie, Margaret Froedge and Becky McKenzie all of Edmonton. Five grandchildren. Carly Waltman, Andrew, Brianna, Shayla and Kaitlyn Garmon. One step grandchild Gabe Newby.
