Cecil Hatter, 90, Liberty, KY (1931-2021) Cecil Hatter of Liberty passed away on Tuesday April 6, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 90 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2pmET on Saturday April 10, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Clifton Cowan and Bro. Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. A walk through visitation will be held from 6pmET until 9pmET on Friday, April 9, 2021, and after 10amET on Saturday April 10, 2021 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Due to State Mandate, masks will be required for the funeral and visitation. For the health and respect of the family please follow all rules for social distancing. He was born in Liberty, KY on April 5th, 1931 a son of the late George M. "Booty" Hatter and Ada Brown Hatter. Cecil was a retired Teacher and Bus Driver for the Casey County School System, a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Survivors include: His Spouse: Norma Jean Clark Hatter, One Son: Michael L. and (Sherri) Hatter of Liberty, One Daughter: Jeanie and (Darrell) Atwood of Liberty, Four Grandchildren: Jason and (Levana) Hatter, Ashley and (Jordan) Sparr, Brittany and (Quintin) Ogle and Darren and (Courtney) Atwood, Eight Great Grandchildren: Logan Hatter and (Krista Lee), Taylor Hatter, Colton Hatter, Connor and Jenna Sparr, Anslee Weddle, Case and Tyson Atwood, One Great Great Grandchild: Paisley Hatter and One Sister: Imodean Roy of Mainesville, OH. Preceding him in death besides his parents was Four Sisters: Lizzie and Geneva Hatter, Maxine Stafford and Alma Vida Weddle. Bartle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
