Incredible India celebrated at Lindsey Wilson College By Travis Smith The Lindsey Wilson College ISP (International Student Program) presented "Incredible India" on Monday on the A.P. White Campus of Lindsey Wilson College. The event, which was part of ISP's International Marketplace Series, was held in the Norma & Glenn Hodge Center for Discipleship. Face masks and temperature checks were required to participate in the event. Harshini Gangaraju of Hyderabad, India and Reshma Challarapu of Visakhapatnam, India presented videos, performed traditional dance, shared cuisine and did a Q & A session all centered around their home country of India. The event closed outside on the lawn with participants taking part in a traditional Indian ceremony called Holi or "Festival of Colors." The event is held annually in India as a welcoming of Spring and a signifier of the triumph of good over evil. During the event colored dyes are splashed upon one another as part of the celebration.
