Judith Ann (Judy) Flanders, 79, Green Co., KY native (1941-2021)

Mrs. Judith Ann "Judy" Milby Flanders of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on the evening of Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was 79 years old.

Graveside services for Mrs. Judith Ann "Judy" Milby Flanders will be conducted at 2pmET on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Kentucky, with her nephew Kelly Flanders officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service.



Judy was born October 19, 1941 in the Gabe Community of Green County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Moss and Sybil Cynthia (McCubbin) Milby.

She attended LaRue County High School in Hodgenville, Kentucky and was a member of the graduating Class of 1960. She then attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. Judy was the Assistant Director of Beech Tree House Center for Child Development serving for 27 years before retiring in 2005. She was also a member of the Life Point Community Church in Indianapolis. She deeply loved her family and doting over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished the time she could be with them. Family was important to Judy and she immensely enjoyed the family vacations they took to Florida every year for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James L. Flanders; her daughters, Cindy (Tim) Fleck and Beth (Ross) Wolfe; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Sadie) Fleck, Diana (Jim) Lesko, Katie (Nick) Meguschar and Molly (Aaron) White; her great-grandchildren, Logan Lesko and Archie Meguschar; her sister, Patricia (Carl) Heninger as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Judy's name can be made to the Servant's Heart Food Pantry of Indy, 5602 Elmwood Avenue, #212, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
