LWC Baseball ready for home game against No. 21 Bryan By Brady Budke Returning to Egnew Park this afternoon, the Lindsey Wilson baseball team will be looking to grab a win against No. 21 Bryan (TN). Live video and live stats will be available for the game tonight, which is set to begin at 4pmCT at Egnew Park, Lindsey Wilson Sports Complex, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. Please view the Lindsey Wilson Athletics Home Attendance Protocols for more information. Back on Feb. 23 this season, the Blue Raiders fell in a high-scoring 16-14 game on the road against the Lions. The bats were hot that night, as BC notched 20 hits while LWC was close behind with 17. Bryan (15-4, 5-1 AAC) recently took two of three from No. 17 Reinhardt (Ga.) in a series this past Friday and Saturday. In the lone loss to the Eagles, the team had its five-game winning streak snapped. The Lions are averaging 7.7 runs per game while allowing just 4.8 to opponents in return. From the plate, Bass Cooper and Tyler Scott each lead the team at 25 hits. Wade Weinburger Jr. holds the most RBIs at 19 on the year. From the mound, Joseph Cuomo has pitched a team-high 40 complete innings of work while leading the way with 39 strikeouts. Lindsey Wilson (6-7, 3-3 MSC) enters this afternoon after winning two of three games over Pikeville (Ky.) on the road this past Friday and Saturday. Through 13 games, the Blue Raiders average 7.3 runs on offense while allowing 6.3 runs on defense. Derek Zavala guides the team with 21 hits while also leading the Mid-South Conference with his 11 stolen bases this year. Ty Menrath prepares for tonight after garnering eight hits and six RBIs in just four games last week. From the bump, Brady Cappe has pitched a team-high 26 1/3 innings while notching 26 strikeouts.
