Ash Wednesday Service, virtual, tomorrow at CUMC

By Doug Beard

The Columbia United Methodist Church invites everyone to join us for a (virtual) sacred time of worship as the family of God with music, readings from the Holy Scriptures, and an Ash Wednesday message as we prepare for the season of Lent.

In the past, our tradition has been to have this time of worship together as a “Community of Faith" during the noon hour. This year, however, with the global pandemic, we feel this is the safest way to remember this Holy time of reflection, commitment and spiritual renewal. With God’s blessing, we will assemble again for this special service as a Christian family in 2022.

The service will be presented on February 17, 2021, at 12noonCT. It will also be available for viewing at your convenience following the initial broadcast. You can view the program by logging onto Facebook and accessing the Columbia United Methodist Church site.
