Tuesday trash pickup moved to Wednesday in Columbia

From Mayor Pam Hoots

This pertains to City of Columbia trash pickup only. If your garbage is picked up by an independent hauler you must contact them for their specific schedules.

The City of Columbia Sanitation Department will not be running the Tuesday residential route. All residents with Tuesday pickup should put trash out to be picked up on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s pickups will remain on Wednesday.

As usual, we ask that you put cans out the night before so that your trash is not missed.

Please let your neighbors know of this change and assist the elderly or those with disabilities if possible. Kindness goes a long way during times such as this.
