Letter: Cannabis kills cancer cells

Marie Freeman writes:
Once again I want to strongly affirm that I am against drug abuse, cigarettes, or even alcohol. I feel that it should be one's freedom of choice, but I would not choose either. Along with many pharmaceutical drugs offered!

But I feel as a nation and a community we need to look at the cancer prospects for healing with the cannabis plant. That is just one of many medicinal values. But perhaps the most important, especially now that it's been discovered that you can juice the plant and not even have any psychoactive properties, why are we not looking at this more?
