Remebering George Rice

Doug McCammish writes:
George Rice was one of the finest Christian men I've ever known. When you talked to George, you always seemed to walk away uplifted. He was an encourager (Romans 12), a prayer warrior, and a model for the rest of us in how he treated others. At past Saturday morning prayer times, George was always among the first to arrive (the Adair County version of "on time") and always sat next to Elvin Giles. I can hear his greeting now. Even last week, George's prayer from his hospital bed was, as usual, full of praise and thanksgiving and concern for others.

There's no doubt that he was heartily welcomed at the pearly gates.
George Moore Rice, Jr., 87, Columbia, KY (1933-2020)
