Sen. Max Wise to participate in Adair Co. Town Hall

By Dustin Isaacs

Frankfort, KY - Senator Max Wise (R-Campbellsville) will be in Adair County for a town hall meeting at 8:30amCT on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the Adair County Annex Building-Community Room at 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.

The event will be live streamed on the Adair County Fiscal Court's Facebook Page.

The town hall will focus on discussions related to the upcoming 2021 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly. Over the past several months, Sen. Wise and fellow lawmakers have spent their time preparing legislative priorities. Legislative committee meetings have focused on Kentucky's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its various impacts on health, education, the state budget, and more.

"I am excited to be in Adair County for another town hall event. Speaking directly to citizens of the 16th Senate District is an important responsibility," Senator Max Wise said. "The year 2020 has brought many challenges. People understandably have questions and concerns right now, and they want their voices to be heard. I appreciate local officials here in Adair County as well as the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce for providing a platform of communication."

Per the Constitution of Kentucky, the 2021 Kentucky General Assembly will convene on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
