Vigil for Vicki tonight, 17 Sept 2020 at 7pmCT

From Cayce Davenport

Today, the students and staff of Adair County Schools are mourning the loss of one of their own. Vicki Leibeck-Owsley passed away overnight. She was a fierce friend, a compassionate role model, a selfless strong woman, and a kind soul.

Vicki believed in the power of words, and today we find ourselves without words to express our loss or to offer up as comfort for her family. Her story isn't over. The next chapters have already been drafted through the many lives she has touched. Let's pay her tribute and lift up prayers for her family.

A vigil for Vicki will be held tonight, Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the Circle drive and grassy lawn at ACHS at 7pmCT. There will be hand sanitizing stations and extra masks on hand - parking lots will be open - student lot, teacher lot, and the lot behind the gym. Do not park in the circle drive.
