Bank of Columbia's Marsha Godsey is Chamber Treasurer and Board Member By Linda Waggener Each month we try to meet a new leader in the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce and this article features Marsha Godsey, treasurer. Marsha is in her fifth year of service to the Chamber as its treasurer and board member. Professionally, she is in her 25th year of experience in the local banking community. Marsha started out as a teller and has risen through the ranks to management. She worked for 20 years at Community Trust Bank before joining the staff of the Bank of Columbia. Today she is in her fourth year there, and holds the position of Vice President/Loan Officer at the Jamestown Street Branch of the Bank of Columbia. Marsha is a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and has completed the school of banking. She is a member of the Columbia Christian Church. She and her husband Larry have two sons, Michael who is a teacher at Adair County High School, and Brent, who is Associate Minister at Woodlawn Christian Church in Campbellsville. Marsha says she loves spending time with her three grandchildren, Alan, Alex and Jocelyn. When they are not with her she enjoys reading. This story was posted on 2004-08-01 15:33:19
