Russell County Jaycees Fair dates announced

The Russell County Jaycees have announced plans for a three-day fair starting July 30 and continuing through August 1, 2020, however, there won't be a carnival and not all of the usual events will take place.

They will follow all state, local and CDC guidelines, along with any and all Governor's executive orders. There will still be a limited number on attendance.

Highlights of events: Floral Hall, Horse Show, Truck and Tractor Pull, Beauty Pageants (little Miss and Mr., Pre-teen, Teen and Miss Russell County Fair only), Local 4-H/FFA Beef and Dairy Show, and Demolition Derby.

The group says, "remember, MASK UP, so we can hopefully continue to do more."
