Diane Ray Wright, 59, Greensburg, KY (1961-2020)

Diane Ray Wright of Greensburg passed away on sday, July 9, 2020. She was 59 years old.

The funeral services for Diane Ray Wright will be conducted at 2pmCT on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Jerry Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

There will be walk through visitation only from 11amCT until 1pmCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg. Due to Covid-19, please practice social distancing and wear a mask while indoors if possible.



Diane Ray Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leslie "Bill" Ray and Martie Charlene Wise Ray, was born on Wednesday, February 22, 1961 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was 59 years, 4 months, and 17 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Family Home Health.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Angela and Troy Mitchell, and Amanda Wright all of Greensburg; a son: Tony Wright of Greensburg; a step-son: Ricky Gene Wright of Greensburg; a sister and brother-in-law: Cathy and Mark Smothers of Buffalo; a brother: Albert Ray of Greensburg; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Diane was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister: Louie Ray and Tracy Ray.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the American Heart Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
