Doris Pedigo Grider, 93, Metcalfe County, KY Doris Marie Pedigo Grider, 93, of Summer Shade, KY passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Bowling Green. She was a member of Missionary Mound Baptist Church and worked at Metcalfe Drugs for several years. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 1pmCT at Missionary Mound Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Missionary Mound Cemetery. A walk through visitation will be Monday, 4-8pmCT at McMurtrey Funeral Home and Tuesday, 7-9:30 at the funeral home and after 10 at the Missionary Mound Church. Masks will be required at both locations. The funeral will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page at 1pm. Born January 12, 1927 in Metcalfe County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Nora Smith Pedigo. She was the widow of the late Roy H Grider. Survivors include two grandchildren, Laura Marie Grider, Nashville, TN and Bradley Thomas (Brianna) Grider, Bowling Green; daughter in law, Peggy B Grider (Jerry) Webb, Bowling Green; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Preceding her in death, besides her husband, include one son, Thomas H Grider and two sisters, Dorothy (Odell) Clark and Maxine (Charles) Bradshaw.
