Within your love I'm caught: a sonnet remembering Linda Regula By Robert Stone The best among us wise words freely share and we believe we know them very well until we suddenly become aware that no more stories will there be to tell. Though dust return to dust our memories will phoenixlike forever blaze again and we behind the flames within the breeze will know the path that leads us out of pain. If we have learned the lessons we were taught, relationships will grow toward compliment: where each will say, within your love I’m caught and have been changed for good by time we spent. Whenever we some other kindness show, we keep alive the one we would they know. ~ Robert Stone, 13 June 2020 This sonnet partly inspired by two quotations: each of them could easily say, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good." ~ Dennis Michael I am so lucky I had the chance to stand behind her flames in all their glory for as long as I did. ~ Nate Cole This story was posted on 2020-06-14 07:58:10
