Tatem Ashley Smith Tungate, Campbellsville, KY (1987-2020) Tatem Ashley Smith Tungate passed away at 10:10pmET on Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Louisville. She was 32 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, June 15, 2020, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Jim Collison, III. Entombment will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. A walk through visitation will be held from 5pmET to 8pmET on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Tatem Ashley Smith Tungate, of Campbellsville, daughter of Tammy Elder and Mike Mings, was born September 30, 1987 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She had a heart of gold with a soft spot for people in need and animals; people couldn't help but be in a great mood when around her and her children were her life. She is survived by her children: Channing Tungate and Rhylen Cochran; mother and step-father, Tammy and Eric Elder; father, Mike Mings; step-brother and step-sister: Ryan Elder and wife, Crystal and Erica Elder Hagan and husband, Jason of Marion County; maternal grandparents, Mike and Marilyn Smith; mother-in-law, Gail Cochran; two sisters-in-law: Katlin Cochran and Davonna Bowling; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her fiance, Josh Cochran, on October 24, 2017. Expressions of sympathy requsted to be donations to the Children's Fund and may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
