COLUMBIA, KY –The Lindsey Wilson College Theatre Program will present the Kentucky premiere of the award winning Steve Martin and Edie Brickell musical Bright Star November 28, 29, 30, and December 6 & 7. Bright Star by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell is a beautiful and compelling story of love and redemption set between 1920s and 1940s North Carolina.

When a young soldier, home from war, wanders into the Ashville Southern Journal, editor Alice Murphy begins a journey through her own past, reawakening once painful and powerful memories. What she discovers will change both of their lives, and the lives of those they love.

This premiere is directed by LWC Director of Theatre, Robert Brock, with musical direction by LWC Assistant to the Director of Theatre, Jeremy Cloyd, and will be performed at 7:00 p.m. CST November 28, 29, 30 and December 6 & 7 in V.P. Henry Auditorium. For ticket information, contact Robert Brock at brockr@lindsey.edu.
