CU offers Grab 'n Go food, CU Cares to help students By Gerard Flanagan Campbellsville, KY - Campbellsville University students needing assistance have options to assist them. In September 2021, the university's Office of Diversity and Community began a Grab 'n Go program to assist any Campbellsville University student encountering food insecurity. According to Wanda Washington, assistant director of diversity, community and Bridge to Success, as of Jan. 10, the program has collected 100 bags of food to distribute to students. "The students are very appreciative of having these resources available for them," Washington said. "If we look at the big picture, decreasing stressors allows students to focus academically thus increasing changes of completing college. Basketball: LWC Men drop hard fought contest against Bears By Kyle Jackson Portsmouth, OH - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team couldn't rally behind a hot start as they were handed their fourth straight loss, 89-92, after a hard-fought battle against Shawnee State (OH). The Blue Raiders had four players in double digits as Elijah Jordan led the team with 19 points and seven rebounds on the afternoon while Connor Robinson had his second double-digit game of his career with 17 points on the afternoon. LWC Indoor Track & Field competes at KY Collegiate Invitational By Kyle Jackson Louisville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson Indoor Track and Field teams returned to action on Saturday competing in the Kentucky Collegiate Invitational hosted by the Norton Center. The Blue Raiders picked up 30 top-five finishes in 21 events on Saturday while the men racked up four wins in four separate events including the 60-meter dash, 1000-meter run, high jump, and triple jump.
