Downtown Days, 2021: that's a wrap The City of Columbia Renaissance Committee completed the 2021 Downtown Days festival Saturday evening with a good crowd in attendance at the country music performance. Mother Nature provided perfect weather with sunshine and temperatures in the 70s and 80s for both days of events starting with food court openings on Friday afternoon and booths selling all kinds of items just in time for the holidays. The new stage took much less time to set up which meant the Public Square parking and traffic was able to continue for more hours than in past, an important consideration for downtown businesses. The only thing that might have made things better would have been if gas hadn't topped $3 per gallon. Keepsake photos are being added to this story. If you have a favorite to add, just text it to 270-403-0017. 2021-10-11 08:02:47 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Local Government
