Miss Victoria Browning-Pike: Greater Bliss Historical Moment

Her first ride was a Farmall. Later, she graduated to a Charles Giles Massey-Ferguson. Things were good then, even better today, she says: With all the technology and innovation of today, all a short little farmer gal has to do is a couple of adjustments with a lever to get the seat adjusted to reach everything and a tap to the air seat so I can see over the wheel.

By Miss Vicky
I just wanted to share the accompanying picture of my first driving lesson on what appears to be an International tractor.

My half brother Robert is giving the lesson and my daddy Billy is proudly looking on.

Wonder what they would think of my girl, Miss Mahindra with all her bells and whistles?

My legs were a little too short to reach the clutch then, too.

As I grew a bit, I was moved to a Massey Ferguson.

On occasion, I would get the gears locked up on it and have to call on Mr. Charles Giles to come unlock them. We still laugh about it, today.

With all the technology and innovation of today, all a short little farmer gal has to do is a couple of adjustments with a lever to get the seat adjusted to reach everything and a tap to the air seat so I can see over the wheel.
