I-75S Renfro Valley exit to close Sun-Fri starting Sun 14 Oct

Somerset, KY - The southbound Interstate 75 off-ramp at exit 62 (Renfro Valley) in Rockcastle County will be temporarily closed during the week starting Sunday, Oct. 14. Crews will be performing rock removal as part of the I-75 widening project.

For four weeks, the ramp will close on Sunday nights at 6pmCT and reopen Friday mornings at 5amCT.


Motorists will detour at exit 59 onto U.S. 25 to KY 461 and reconnect with U.S. 25. Signs will be posted along detour route. The southbound I-75 on-ramp at exit 62 will remain open to traffic.

The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
