Letter: Signage needs change at bypass

Christine Morrison writes:
I came through 61 South from Post Office going through bybass to Walmart today. Paying attention to all the signage, and I came to see the first 55 mile an hour sign doesn't need to be where it is posted.

This is my thinking, it needs to be 35 miles per hour all the way through the light at the intersection. The first 55 mile per hour sign should be posted after you go through the light going south, where the Hwy 61 sign is placed.

Why should that 55 speed limit sign even exist right before the light? This would slow people down, like it has going through the Pike. I hope the state will take a look at this. --Christine Morrison
