CFR responds to commercial fire at Sonic of Campbellsville

At 6:55ET on Monday, October 1, 2018, Campbellsville Fire-Rescue responded to a reported commerical fire at Sonic Restaurant, 180 Campbellsville Bypass, Campbellsville, KY. Eight firefighters were on the scene with 2 trucks. Atmos Energy and Campbellsville Taylor County EMS also responded.

CFR was on the scene within 2 minutes, and had the fire under control within 4 minutes. They finished and left the scene 41 minutes after the call.

According to Chief Chris Taylor's report:


Campbellsville Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a grease fire inside the restaurant. Upon arrival firefighters found light smoke and small flames coming from a deep fryer. Firefighters extinguished the fire and checked for fire extension to the hood system and building. There were no injuries, and minor damage to kitchen equipment.
