Richard Allen Baldwin, 85, of Columbia, died Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Russell County Hospital.

The funeral service for Richard Allen Baldwin will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Millerfield Brethren In Christ Church, 1935 Millerfield Rd, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Troy Grider officiating.

Visitation will be from 5pmCT to 8pmCT on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY and after 9amCT on Wednesday at the church.


He was born June 10, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Chester Joshua & Nancy Marie Macy Baldwin. Richard was a Veteran of US Army, a minister and a member of Millerfield Brethren In Christ Church.

Survivors include:
  • His wife, Geraldine Hadley Baldwin, Columbia
  • Three Children: Joshua Paul Baldwin, Frankfort, KY, Rebecca Janette Mooney, Lawrenceburg, KY, and John Allen Baldwin, Frankfort, KY
  • Three Step Children: Debbie Mullins, Russell Springs, Darryl Hudson, Lexington, and Dale Hudson, Alabama
  • One Sister, Barbara Liddle, Indianapolis, IN
  • Two Brothers: James Baldwin, Plainfield, IN, and Wendell Baldwin, Greenwood, IN
  • Three Grandchildren, Seven Step-Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren
