Stolen ID and Veterans Benefits

By Joe Hare
VFW Post 6097 Commander

VFW Post 6097 has just received word of some veterans direct deposit checks being hijacked to some other account. One of our members has had it happen to him and in talking to the Veterans Administration people he was able to learn that is becoming more and more frequent.

If you use eBenefits change your password and be very careful and alert to any thing out of the norm.

This member did not know it until he got a letter from VA, so stay alert comrades and vigilant of your account.
