Blinkhorn wins, LWC Men's golf finishes first at MSC Tournament By Christopher Coombs Prestonburg, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team captured first place at the MSC Fall Tournament at Stonecrest Golf Course - par 72, 6,885 yards - on Sunday. Callum Blinkhorn fired an impressive 6-under par, 66 stroke final round bringing his two day total to 135 after a 3-under par first round. Blinkhorn's final round secured him a seven stroke victory as Campbellsville's Seth Bohl finished in second place shooting a 142 (74-68) stroke total. Blinkhorn was one of four other golfers to finish the tournament under par. The win marks the second time this season Blinkhorn has taken first place at a tournament. The No. 24-ranked Blue Raiders finished with a total score of 582 (290-292) to capture first place, one stroke ahead of runner-up Midway (Ky.) who posted a 583 (294-289). Cumberland (Tenn.) turned in a third place finish after posting a 10-over par, 586 stroke team score. Lindsey Wilson's Callum Burns finished locked in a five way tie for 13th place after carding a 3-over par 75 on the final day, for a two day 148 stroke total after carding a 73 on the first day of competition. Cody Mingus finished in a tie for 27th with a 152 (75-77). Etienne Rensburg and Jeremiah Hayes finished just one stroke behind Mingus in a tie for 31st with 153 strokes. Morgan Grace competed as an individual at the event scoring a 152 (77-75) to finish in a tie for 27th. The Blue Raiders are back on the course for the Bojangles Invitational at Tennessee National Golf Club, 8301 Tennessee National Drive, Loudon, TN, on October 15-16.
