Lera Harris, 96, Metcalfe County, KY

Lera Harris age 96 of Edmonton, KY passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11amCT Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pink Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pmCT Friday and after 9amCT Saturday at the funeral home.



She was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Bell Oakes Durrett. Mrs Harris was a homemaker and member of the Pink Ridge Baptist Church where she professed faith in Christ at the age of thirteen. She is survived by
  • A daughter Sue White and husband Owen of Edmonton

  • Two grandchildren - Ricky Harris and wife Teresa of Adair Couunty and Tammy White of Edmonton

  • One great grandchild - Ashley Wilson and husband Cam of Glasgow
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Coy Harris and a son Avis Harris.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
