One injured in Marion Co collision

Marion Co, KY - Trooper Clint Bale is investigating a three vehicle collision that occurred Thursday evening September 13th, 2018 at approximately 5:26pmET, 8.6 miles east of Lebanon on Danville Hwy.

62 year old Shirley Lee of Lebanon was traveling east on Danville Hwy in a 2008 Saturn Vue when she slowed down to make a right turn. Audrianna Clark, age 29, of Gravel Switch, was traveling east on Danville Hwy in a 2010 Ford Fusion when she slowed down after observing the vehicle in front of her slowing down to make a turn. Athena Abell, age 37, of Gravel Switch, was also traveling east on Danville Hwy in a 2002 Ford F250 when she failed to see the vehicles in front of her slowed down, causing her to strike Clark's vehicle in the back.

Clark's vehicle overturned, causing it to strike Lee's vehicle in the rear end. Clark was transported to Springview Hospital by Marion County EMS. Lee and Abell were uninjured. All occupants were wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper Bale was also assisted at the scene by the Marion County Sheriff's Department and Gravel Switch Fire and Rescue.
