Annual Family Weekend at CU coming up 21-22 Sept 2018 By Whitley E. Howlett, student news writer, Office of University Communications CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- "This year we will be having a Family Weekend like we've never had before. Campbellsville University is the students' campus, but it's their parents' campus as well," Darryl Peavler, director of alumni relations, said. "We want everyone to feel welcome and connected," Peavler said. Family Weekend kicks off on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 with a family BBQ on Stapp Lawn at 4pmCT/5pmET. During this time, the Tiger Ninja Warrior Games obstacle course will be open for students and families to participate in from 3:30-6CT/4:30-7pmET on Stapp Lawn. Afterward, the Tiger Ninja Warrior Game Show will begin at 6:15pmCT/7:15pmET for everyone to enjoy and watch the top 20 times compete on the course. On Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 the morning starts off with brunch at Winters Dining Hall at 9:30amCT/10:30amET The final event for the Family Weekend will be the Tiger Football Game at Citizens Bank Field at Finley Stadium at 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET when the Tigers play Point University.
