Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 4 SEPT 2018

Indictments brought against 20 individuals from Campbellsville, Lebanon, Greensburg, St. Francis, and Louisville, KY on charges including attempted murder, trafficking, assault, burglary, theft, possession, DUI, public intoxication, cultivation of marijuana, and promoting contraband.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 4 September 2018:


  • Fasha Bond, Rockford Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00206. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Traffic in marijuana, <8oz, 1st offense. Bond set at $500 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Misty Garrett, Highway 289, Lebanon, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00207. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, heroin. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Operating motor vehicle under influence drugs/alcohol/etc., .08, 2nd. Bond set at $10,000 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drug use, no driving.

  • Stephen K. Pilkington, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00208. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition all others u/$500. Bond set at $10,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises.

  • Steven Pilkington, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00209. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $11,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises.

  • Stephen K. Pilkington, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00210. Charged with 9 counts. Count 1 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 4 - Receiving stolen property, under $500. Count 5 - Operating motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 2nd offense. Count 6 - Operating on suspended revoked operators license. Count 7 - Failure to produce insurance card. Count 8 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 9 - No tail lamps. Bond set at $12,000 cash.

  • Tracy Cox, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00211. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 4 - Public intoxication controlled substance, excludes alcohol. Count 5 - Criminal trespassing, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $10,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises.

  • Monica Antle, Spurlington Church Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00212. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking, all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $2,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Joseph K. Hughes, Risen Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00213. Charged with 12 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Count 3 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, on foot. Counts 4,5,6,7 - Attempt TBUT or disposition auto $10,000 or more but under $1,000,000. Counts 8,9 - Assault, 4th degree, minor injury. Count 10 - Criminal mischief, 2nd degree. Count 11 - Resisting arrest. Count 12 - Menacing. Bond set at $75,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises, no alcohol, no illegal drug use.

  • Jonathan W. Harmon, Dry Creek Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00214. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Fraudulent use of credit card after $500<$10,000. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Joseph L. Clements, St. Francis Rd., St. Francis, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00215. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Attempted murder. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Burglary, 1st degree. Bond set at $250,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises, no weapons, no firearms.

  • Dennis J. Carrier, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00216. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd+ offense, >2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Public intoxication, controlled substance, excludes alcohol. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $25,000 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drugs.

  • Justin C. Downs, Boca Noir Circle, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00217. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd+ offense, >2g heroin. Count 2 - Trafficking in synthetic drugs, 2nd or subsequent offense. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Possession controlled substance, 3rd degree, drug unspecified. Count 5 - Operating motor vehicle under influence alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 1st offense. Count 6 - Obstructed vision and/or windshield. Count 7 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 8 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drugs.

  • Andrew Clark, Davis Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00218. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Marijuana cultivation, 5+ plants, 1st offense. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Joseph Cox, Smith Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00219. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drug or alcohol, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Nicholas Underwood, Clark Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00220. Chargred with 1 count. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, 2g+ methamphetamine. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Nicholas T. Underwood, Clark Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment no. 18-CR-00221. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Traffic in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, 2g+ methamphetamine. Count 3 - TBUT or disposition shoplifting under $500. Count 4 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess.   • William T. Coomer, Rosie Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00223. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 4th+ offense. Count 2 - Driving DUI Suspended License, 1st offense. Count 3 - Possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited. Bond set at $500 full cash, no driving, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Michael Lynn Burress Indictment No. 18-CR-00225. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Monte L. Smith, Shawnee Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00224. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 2g+ heroin. Counts 2,3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 5 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 6 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, 20DU+ drug unspecified. Count 7 - Promoting contraband, 2nd degree. Count 8 - Giving officer false identifying information. Bond set at $15,000 cash, no alcohol, no illegal drugs.

  • Steven Mitchell, Hwy 88, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00226. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Kidnapping, minor. Count 2 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. Count 4 - Alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $35,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises, no weapons, no alcohol, no illegal drug use.

  • Joseph G. Martin, South Central, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00227. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree, domestic, 3rd+ offense within 5 years. Count 2 - Resisting arrest. Count 3 - Disorderly conduct, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Nicholas Spencer, Blue Hole Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00228. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Bond set at $25,000 cash, no contact with victim or premises.
