Advocates for them as a first step

By Sena M Schaefer

I have read all of the comments on this. I have noticed that the majority of all wrecks at this intersection and others seem to involve drivers from other addresses beyond Columbia & Adair County.

Before the expense of major road changes are incurred, why not install rumble strips? Those things get my attention every time.

From the police reports, it seems that the recent 5 car pileup was the result of mechanical failure in one of the vehicles. Roundabouts, changing lights, changing signs, reducing speeds, etc. would not have prevented the chain reaction wreck that occurred. It is wonderful that there were no fatalities among those involved.

I was fortunate to get stuck in a very slow lane at Walmart that day. I first saw the wreck

When wreckers were starting to move the damaged vehicles. Seeing the condition of some of the vehicles, I am still amazed that there no fatalities among the occupants. Miracles happen every day and that certainly was a day of many miracles for a lot of people. - Sena M Schaefer
