Something for Everyone this weekend at 2018 HGR Fall Festival Homeplace on Green River Fall Heritage Festival September 3, 2018. 11th Annual Fall Festival, 09am-4pmCT/10am-5pmET at Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. Phone: 270-789-0006 (Sponsored) Click on headline for story with photo(s) By George Kolbenschlag Something for Everyone--and The Price is Right There's going to be something for almost everyone at the Homeplace on Green River Fall Heritage Festival Saturday, September 8, 2018. Shopping: 24 artist/crafters this year If you like to shop, there's going to be 24 artists and crafters showing and selling their wares. Learning: 12 exhibitors/demonstrators If you like to learn, there will be 12 exhibitors demonstrating things like logging with a team of horses, making butter and demonstrating how our ancestors lived in colonial times. Eating: 11 food vendors If you like to eat, there will 11 food vendors cooking rib eye, pulled pork, tenderloin, fried fish, burgers, hotdogs and waffles. There will be ice cream, cotton candy, shaved ice and lemonade. Watch kids having fun If you like to watch kids have fun, and join in with them, there will be hay rides, a petting farm, a barrel train, a hay maze and hiking trails. Listen to great music all day< There will also be live music all day. If you like bluegrass, the Exie boys will be back. They've been picking and singing at almost every festival at Homeplace since the festivals started 11 years ago. Renetta and Friends will also be back playing and singing a variety of styles. There will be gospel singing by the Pleasant Union Baptist Church and songs from Tom Sawyer and other plays by the members of the Burkesville Fine Arts Association. Fun all day from 8am-4pmCT/9am-5pmET The fun starts at 8amCT/9amET and will be going on until 4pmCT and the cost is only $10 per car which includes everything except purchases from the vendors. Homeplace is located between Campbellsville and Columbia about one-half mile from the Green River/Highway 55 bridge at 5807 New Columbia Road (Highway 55), Campbellsville.
