The September Columbia City Council meeting was held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 instead of the first Monday which was a holiday. Since it was not on the regular meeting date, it automatically became a special called meeting which meant no comments nor issues other than what had been on the pre-announced agenda could be discussed.

Mayor Curtis Hardwick presided. Council Members present were Linda Waggener, Craig Lasley, Dr. Ronald P. Rogers, Mark Harris and Pam Hoots. Craig Dean was absent. Also present were City Attorney Dustin Warren and City Police Chief Jason Cross. And members of the media.

Only two items were deliberated:
- Approval of Minutes of August 6, 2018 - Regular Meeting. Unanimously approved by a voice vote on a motion by Council member Mark Harris with a second by Ronald Rogers.
- Approval of minutes of August 21, 2018 Special Called Meeting. Unanimously approved by a voice vote on a motion by Council member Ronald Rogers with a second by Pam Hoots.
Adjournment followed approximately one minute after the meeting was gavelled to order.

Meetings are open to the public. Questions may be directed to Columbia City Clerk Rhonda Loy 270-384-2501.
