Josh Brockman, Public Information Officer Columbia Police Department, Chief Jason Cross COLUMBIA, KY - (Wed 29 Aug 2018) On Monday, August 27, 2018, at 12:30amCT, Ofc. Jamie Cole initiated a traffic stop on a 2001 BMW for a registration violation. Upon roadside interview, it was found the operator had a suspended operators license and was in possession of marijuana in the vehicle. Dioulde Niane, age 22, of Columbia, KY, was arrested on charges of Operating on Suspended Drivers license.NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt.
