Logging accident in Green Co., takes life of Campbellsville man

Location of accident is about 12 north of Historic Courthouse, Columbia, KY in the Ebenezer Community of Green County, KY.

A Campbellsville man died Saturday morning as the result of a logging accident in the Ebeneezer Community of Southern Green County.

The accident occurred at 10:52amCT, on Liberty Church Road, Green County, KY.



Green County Sheriff Robbie Beard said that Donald Ray Dease, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene by Taylor County Coroner Daniel Cook.

Coroner Cook handled the Green County case through a mutual aid pact between the Green and Taylor County Coroner's offices.
