Metcalfe Co. Community Education offers Driver's Education

Available for area students. Maximum class size is 10.

Area students once again have the opportunity to take part in the Community Education Class - Drivers Education. Students meet once per week at 3pm-6pmCT, starting Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Metcalfe County High School, 208 Randolph Street, Edmonton, KY, to read and test over material covered by instructor, Johnnie Tarter.

Also, during the ten weeks, students will be applying what they learn in class on the road. Each student will practice 6-hours of drive time in order to complete the class and obtain their Drivers Ed certificate which is good for a 10% discount with most insurance companies.

Maximum class size is 10. The cost is $50 (in-county), $100 (out-of-county). If you're interested in this class for your child, call the Metcalfe County Community Education Office, Kristin Crouch 270-432-0553, or email kristin.crouch@metcalfe.kyschools.us, or see Ms. Sherry in the MCHS office for a registration packet.
