Nick Hale Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CLINTON COUNTY, KY - (Mon 6 Aug 2018) - On August 3, 2018 at approximately 7:11pmCT, Trooper Jordan Carter assisted the Clinton County Sheriff's Department in executing a search warrant six miles west of Albany on Cedar Hill Road. As a result of searching the residence Trooper Carter and Sheriff Jim Guffey located several small bags of methamphetamine, digital scales, syringes, smoke pipes, liquid fire, lithium batteries, grinders and several prescription pills. Bobby Kennedy, age 27, and Amanda Newberry, age 30, both of Albany, KY, were arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense, (drug unspecified,) unlawful possession of a meth precursor, 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, 3rd degree- drug unspecified, controlled substance endangerment to a child, 4th degree; and trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense -(< 2 grams methamphetamine.)Both were lodged in the Clinton County Jail, Albany, KY.
