Women's and children's clothing stores hold open house

Libby and Billy Joe Fudge invited the public to their new business, Libby's Gift Boutique & Southern Accents Friday, August 3, 2018 for a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony and official opening. The event included an open house for Princesses & Pirates, the children's clothing store located inside Libby's at 107 Burkesville Street, Suite B, Downtown Columbia, KY, beside Walker Realty.



Among those in attendance were: Pam Hoots, president, and Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Columbia/Adair Chamber of Commerce; Linda Affolter and Danette Hancock from First & Farmers National Bank; Patricia Harper, chamber board member; Rick and Sandy Wilson, friends; Shay Knifley, daughter of owners Billy Joe and Libby Fudge; Cheryl Corbin, owner of P&P with granddaughter Kharli Stockton and baby Cruz, Cole and Kayla Stockton; Hayden Ford, nephew; Barry Corbin, owner; and family and friends Debbie Willis, Linda Bea Jackson, Joan Loy, Landon Edwards, Kelli Claypool, next door neighbors Marsha and Richard Lee walker of Walker Real Estate, photographers Beth Holmes and Linda Waggener to name a few of those coming and going throughout the day. The event was celebrated with light refreshments, giveaways, and discounts.

A combined ribbon-cutting and open house Ribbon Cutting at Libby's Gift Boutique & Southern Accents along with Princesses & Pirates drew a large crowd for the ribbon cutting and official opening Friday, August 3, 2018. Epicurean Kentuckian: Strawberry and chocolate cupcakes

The real Princess & Pirates behind the business name appear here with their grandparents, owners Cheryl and Barry Corbin. Cole, 6, is at left and four year old Kharli (pronounced Charlie) is in the middle, and 6 months old Cruz is in the arms of his grandmother. The little ones are the children of John and Kayla Stockton. Everyone is from Columbia and they were at their ribbon cutting celebration and open house today inside Libby's Boutique.
