He was a musician and a member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Russell County at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Roxie & Gilbert Tucker. His wife, Margie Polston Tucker, survives.

Wendell Tucker, 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away, Monday July 23, 2018 at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Saturday July 28, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Melvin Offill officiating. Interment will be in the Military Springs Cemetery, Highway 196, Jabez, KY. Visitation will be 11am-2pmCT, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.



Wendell Tucker, 75, Russell County, KY (1942-2018)


He was born on Thursday, September 17, 1942 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Roxie & Gilbert Tucker. He died Monday, July 23, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 75 years, months, and seven days.

He was a musician and a member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by:
  • His wife - Margie Polston Tucker, Jamestown, KY

  • Sisters-in-law - Brenda Offill, Florence, KY; Karen Luttrell and Joann Polston, Russell Springs, KY; and Kathy Zaparata, Liberty, KY

  • Brothers-in-law - Douglas Polston, Liberty, KY, and Michael Polston, Somerset, KY
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Everett and Olen Toby Tucker and step mother, Onedia Tucker.
