Edmond Trautman, 96, Taylor County, KY (1921-2018)

He was a veteran of World Wart II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of Battery B 44th Field Artillery Battalion. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Edmond retired from farming, which he loved and was considered by everyone to be "an all around good guy."

Edmond Trautman, 96 of Campbellsville, KY died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville at age 96.

The funeral service will be at 12noonCT/1pmET Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville. Burial will be in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET Friday, July 13, 2018.



Edmond Trautman, 96, Taylor County, KY (1921-2018)

He was the son of the late William Shelby Trautman and Ealon Rhynearson Trautman, born September 1, 1921 in Taylor County, KY. He died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 96 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of World Wart II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of Battery B 44th Field Artillery Battalion.

Edmond retired from farming, which he loved and was considered by everyone to be "an all around good guy".

He is survived by
  • His wife, Doris Gabehart, who he united in marriage with December 9, 2009.

  • One sister, Mary Alice Jones of Louisville, KY

  • A special nephew, Kevin Gabehart, and wife Lisa of Lebanon, KY

  • Many other relatives and friends
Edmond was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Marcus Trautman, Irene Clark and Myrtle Stubbs and a half-brother, Abb Puryear.
