Green Co., KY - Knock and talk leads to two drug arrest

Midnight Knock and Talk on Buckner Hill Road follows anonymous tip. Arrests a result of coordinated operation of Kentucky State Police Post 15 and Greensburg Police.

Kentucky State Police Post 15,118 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY

GREEN COUNTY, KY (Thu 12 JUL 2018) - On July 11, 2018 at approximately 12:15pmCT, Trooper Scott Curry, Trooper Daniel Forbis and Greensburg Police conducted a knock and talk at a residence on west Buckner Hill Road after receiving an anonymous tip about possible drug activity at that residence.



Upon Contact with Jennifer Moss, age 34 and Brandon Shofner, age 27, both of Greensburg, KY gave consent for law enforcement to search the residence.

Troopers located several smoke pipes with suspected marijuana and methamphetamine in them.

Moss and Shofner were arrested and charged with
  • Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine,)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of marijuana.
Both subjects were lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
