KSP investigates bank robbery in the Big Clifty community

The preliminary investigation has revealed that two unknown suspects entered the bank brandishing a gun and demanding money. The suspects then exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency, and left in a blue. newer model passenger car believed to be a Nissan (see accompanying), traveling north toward Hardin Springs Road.

Big Clifty, KY. (Mon 2 Jul 2018) - On Monday July 2, 2018 at 12:07pmCT, Grayson County Dispatch notified Kentucky State Police Post 4 requesting assistance with a bank robbery.



The robbery occurred at the Wilson & Muir Bank, 9790 Elizabethtown Road in Big Clifty.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that two unknown suspects entered the bank brandishing a gun and demanding money. The suspects then exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency, and left in a blue. newer model passenger car believed to be a Nissan (see accompanying), traveling north toward Hardin Springs Road.

The Kentucky State Police Post 04 is requesting if you have any information regarding this case or know the identity of the unknown males and/or their whereabouts, please contact Kentucky State Police at 270-766-5078.

KSP was assisted at the scene by the Grayson County Sheriff's Office. The case is being led by Detective Bryan Washer and is ongoing. No further information is available for release at this time.
