A section of US 68 in Logan County will be closed for railroad maintenance next week

By Wes Watt

BOWLING GREEN, KY (Tue 12 Jun 2018) - A section of US 68 near mile point 10.2 near KY 3519 Lewisburg Road in Russellville in Logan County is expected to be closed Monday, June 18 and Tuesday, June 19 at the railroad crossing for maintenance. Semi-trucks need to use the other sections of the bypass as a detour. Local traffic can use KY 3519 and US 431. Motorists need to allow for extra travel time to get through the area. Motorists also need to be on the lookout for semi-trucks who may have missed the turn off to avoid the closure. Work is subject to change. Wes Watt, Public Information Officer, KY Transportation Cabinet, District 3, Bowling Green, KY.
