David E. Bailey, 63, Russell County, KY (1955-2018)

He was a factory worker and a farmer. He was the son of the late Sadie (Lynn) & Eldon Bailey. He was a native of Jamestown, KY, and was a resident of the city at the time of his death. His wife, Diane Reeder Bailey, survives. He leaves four direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in McElroy Cemetery in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY.

David E. Bailey, 63, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Friday June 8, 2018 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services for David E. Bailey will be at 2pmCT, Monday, June 11, 2018, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Rod Lawless and Bro. Cliff Sullivan officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday, June 10, 2018 after 2pmCT, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the McElroy Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY.

David was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on May 27, 1955. He was a son of the late Sadie (Lynn) & Eldon Bailey. He died Friday, June 8, 2018, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 63 years, 12 days.

He was a factory worker and a farmer.

David is survived by:
  • His wife: Diane (Reeder) Bailey

  • Daughter: Melanie (Ryan) Walton

  • Brother: Barry Bailey

  • Two sisters: Elsie Bailey and Debbie Burton

  • Three grandchildren: Ellis Bailey, Nella Jules, and Phoebe Belle

  • Mother-in-law: Margaret Reeder
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Bailey.
