Coty Allen Lawhorn, 28, of Russell Springs, died Friday, June 8, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Monday, June 11, and after 8amCT on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

The funeral service for Coty Allen Lawhorn will be 10amCT on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Dixon Cemetery.

Coty was born September 21, 1989 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of Pamela Murphy and James Lawhorn, both of whom reside in Russell Springs, KY, and both of whom survive. He died Friday, June 11, 2018, at his home in Russell Springs, KY, at the age of 28 years, eight months, and 21 days.

He worked in road construction.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Jessica Lawhorn, Russell Springs

  • A son: Logan Lawhorn, Russell Springs

  • Two step children: Phoebe Johnson and Alex Johnson, both of Russell Springs

  • Mother: Pamela Murphy, Russell Springs, KY

  • Father: James Lawhorn, Russell Springs, KY

  • Maternal Grandparents: Randall & Wanda Hammond, Russell Springs, KY

  • Paternal Grandparents: Donnie & June Lawhorn, Dunnville, Ky

  • Two Brothers: Jonathan Lawhorn, Russell Springs, and Benjamin Ray, Russell Springs, KY
