Ralph Henry Judd, 97 Jefferson County, KY/Green County Native (1921-2018)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a retired Buyer and Consultant for International Harvester having worked there for over 33 years. He was also a Veteran of World War II. He served in the United States Air Force Army Air Corps and was a member of the American Legion. He will be accorded full military honors at committal rites in the Judd Cemetery.

Mr. Ralph Henry Judd of Louisville, KY, son of the late Samuel Newton Judd and Lilly Sutton Judd, was born on March 23, 1921 in Green County, KY and departed this life on June 1, 2018 at his residence in Louisville, KY. He was 97 years, 2 months and 9 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Ralph Henry Judd will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Judd Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the Glasgow D.A.V. Visitation is requested from 1pm-7pmCT/2pm-8pmET, Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Owen Funeral Home in Louisville and Saturday, June 9, 2018, from 4pm-8pmCT and after 7amCT, Sunday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.



Pallbearers: Ben Coleman, Rob Bunch, Herby Bunch, Matt Reed, Justin Bruce, and Hunter Nunnally.

Mr. Ralph Henry Judd of Louisville, KY, son of the late Samuel Newton Judd & Lilly Sutton Judd, was born on March 23, 1921 in Green County, KY and departed this life on June 1, 2018 at his residence in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was 97 years, 2 months and 9 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a retired Buyer and Consultant for International Harvester having worked there for over 33 years. He was also a Veteran of World War II. He served in the United States Air Force Army Air Corps and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Rebecca Coleman of Edmonton, KY; and Brenda McDaniel of Louisville, KY

  • Two sons and two daughters-in-law: Donald and Gayle Judd and Ronald and Kathy Judd, all of Louisville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Twenty-six great-grandchildren

  • Several great-great-grandchildren

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by two wives: Mable Munzer Judd and Audrey Jeffries Judd; one brother: Chester Judd; and two sisters: Bessie Ennis, Russell Hudgins and an infant sister.
